Obituary for
Lori Hughes
Lori Hughes, age 64, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 18, 2018 at Seaforth Community Hospital. Lori was born April 23, 1954 in Liverpool, England to Ronald Phillips and Angela (Graham) Bremmer, she has now joined them and will be at peace.
Lori is survived by her loving husband and best friend Bill, her children Terry and Rachel, her daughter-in-law Jennifer, son-in-law Alan and beautiful grandchildren who she adored, Vanessa, Aidan, Ashley and Mateo.
Lori had retired from the Toronto Transit Commission, she was able to enjoy 6 years of retirement surrounded by her family, friends and the Seaforth Community. Gone too soon, Lori will be deeply missed by all those who knew her. Lori’s sense of humour always made people feel at ease, she was often approached by strangers who just wanted to talk. Lori never wanted to be the centre of attention. Her deeds for others were always done quietly, but with grand intentions.
Lori requested a private funeral. The family wishes to thank all those who cared for her during her illness, and supported us.
A celebration of life will take place at the Seaforth Agriplex, 140 Duke Street, Seaforth, from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2018 to reminisce, support each other and share stories that made us all smile.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Seaforth Community Hospital Foundation. Online condolences and memorial donations can be made by visiting Lori’s memorial at www.mcglynnfamilyfuneralhome.com
