Ken Maloney
Ken passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, July 5, 2018. Born in McKillop Township on March 1, 1940, Kenneth Joseph Richard Maloney of Seaforth was in his 79th year.
Beloved husband and best friend of Madelon (née Townsend) Maloney for 56 years. Loving father of Kathy Binnendyk (Mike) of Seaforth and Colleen Janmaat (Ron) of Harpurhey. Cherished Grandpa of Jennifer Costello (Shawn), Nicole Tiegs (James), Cody Janmaat (Danica), Ashley Janmaat (Gerad), Shelby Janmaat (Dean), and cherished “Grandpa Loney” of Madisen, Breanna and Carson Costello, and Connor and Ava Tiegs. Also missed by his sisters, Lorraine Feeney, Jean Kelly, Eileen Pryce, and by his sisters-in-law Mary Maloney, Laurene Maloney, Annette Bartel (Art), Ivy Hruden (John), Bonnie Finch (Rick) and Lorraine Taylor (Don).
Ken is predeceased by his parents Joseph and Nora (née Murray) Maloney, parents-in-law Ray Townsend and Thelma Pryce (Oliver), grandson Jeffrey Binnendyk, brothers Martin, Clarence, Leonard and Leon Maloney, and by his brother-in-law Len Feeney.
Cremation will be taking place and memorial visitation will be held at McGlynn Family Funeral Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Sunday, July 8th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A private funeral service for family and close friends will be held on Monday, July 9th, to celebrate Ken’s life.
