Passed away peacefully at Seaforth Manor on Wednesday, February 22, 2012. Allan Albert Nicholson of Egmondville in his 92nd year.
Beloved husband of Helen (nee Van Camp) of Egmondville. Loving father of Glen and his wife Marg of Dashwood, Lynn Devereaux and her husband Tom of Seaforth and Don and his wife Sue of London. Cherished Grandpa of Kelly (Jered), Kim, Kyle, Connor, Kalen, Stephen, Robin and Kent; Great-Grandpa of Noah. Also survived by his sister Barbara Alexander (Gord Thornton) of Egmondville, sisters-in-law Elizabeth Nicholson of Preston and Lillian Nicholson of Egmondville. Allan will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by his parents Art and Cassie Nicholson and brothers, Murray, Harold (Beryl), Jack and Ross.
Visitation will be held at McGlynn Family Funeral Home, Seaforth on Sunday, February 26th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with a Royal Canadian Legion Branch 156 service at 6:30 p.m. Sunday. The funeral service to celebrate Allan’s life will be held at the funeral home on Monday, February 27, 2012 at 11 a.m. Rev. Linda Moffatt will officiate the service and a reception will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 156 in Seaforth. Spring interment to take place at Egmondville Cemetery.
