Obituary for
Doug Whyte
Doug Whyte passed away peacefully at the Gray Nuns Community Hospital in Edmonton on May 28, 2015 at the age of 82, after a brief stay in hospital.
Predeceased by his wife Jean (nee Snell) Whyte. Doug is deeply missed and lovingly remembered, his daughters Lisa Whyte (Calgary, AB – ex-husband and friend Jim Donald; partner Henri Simoneau) and Lori Macintosh (and Rob, Drayton Valley, AB); Doug’s five grandchildren: Cheryl Pilipchuk (and Craig, Sherwood Park, AB), Jeanette Radchenko (and Ryan, Drayton Valley, AB), Ian Macintosh (and Caitlin, Calgary, AB), Josh Donald (and Amy, Okotoks, AB) and Jenny Donald (High River, AB); and also by his eight great grandchildren: Mckenna and Braylyn Donald, Neela and Trayden Donald, Sage and Finnley Radchenko, Chase and Connor Pilipchuk.
In keeping with Doug’s wishes, a memorial service will be held at McGlynn Family Funeral Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, ON, 519-527-1390, on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will take place in Maitlandbank Cemetery followed by a reception at Northside United Church in Seaforth.
