Lionel (Lyle) O’Brien, age 69, of Seaforth and formerly of Tuckersmith Township, on Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at Seaforth Community Hospital. Beloved son of the late Eldon and Mary (Duffy) O’Brien. Dear brother of Frank of Australia, Diane and Bill Lewin of St. John, New Brunswick, Jean O’Brien of Hensall, Basil and Mary Lou O’Brien of Clinton and Marg and Bill Turner of Bayfield. Also remembered by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, aunts and uncle. Predeceased by a sister Donna. Family will receive friends at the Whitney-Ribey Funeral Home, 87 Goderich Street West, Seaforth on Saturday, June 6 from 9:00 am until time of the Mass of the Christian Burial at St. James Roman Catholic Church, Seaforth at 11:00 am. Fr. Paul Nicholson will officiate. Interment Clinton Cemetery. Memorial donations to Epilepsy Huron-Perth-Bruce or to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
